Samsung Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 Photos Leak Ahead of Galaxy Unpacked Event

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are two new foldable smartphones that have allegedly leaked less than two weeks before Samsung's July 10 Unpacked presentation.

Rendering images were uploaded late on Thursday by leaker Evan Blass on social media and in his Substack newsletter, as 9to5Google reported. The website WinFuture has released more pictures that showcase the two new smartphones' additional colors. Unpacked is scheduled to take place in Paris.

The Flip 6 is displayed in silver, green, light blue, and yellow, while the Fold 6 looks to be available in pink, dark navy blue, and silver, based on the latest pictures.

The Flip 6 is expected to receive just minor updates, at least in terms of design. However, it is believed to come with a new processor—the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3—that will match the premium Galaxy S smartphone, but there might be more than one version. Additionally, the Flip 6 might have an improved camera and a bigger battery.

Regarding the Fold 6, it might have a design more akin to the Galaxy S24 Ultra and a bigger cover screen. A variant version might also be released, but the camera might not be improved.

Samsung had been the market leader in foldable phones up until now, but it now faces competition from the Motorola Razr, OnePlus Open, and Google's Pixel Fold. The manufacturer has made hints about new AI functions for both of the forthcoming phones.
